Whether you have just started differentiation, or are well into the DI travels, you’ll take new ideas, strategies, and energy back to your classroom.

Fun and Friendly Phonics.  Build a print rich environment and integrate phonics into all areas of your day. Escape the boredom of isolated skill drill. Discover brain-friendly ways to teach phonics using independent activities, music, movement, and immersion in letter and sound awareness.

After teaching and learning for more than thirty years as a classroom teacher, Cindy Middendorf now brings a practical, realistic approach to teacher workshops, conferences and in-service trainings. Her humor and insight into the lives of teachers (and learners) reflect her experience in the early childhood classroom.  She is well known for common sense, use-it-tomorrow strategies that are rooted in research. Cindy has presented at local, state and national conferences. She has been a featured speaker at many reading associations across America. She has worked as an Early Childhood and Early Literacy consultant in many school districts around the county. Cindy has authored 3 books for Scholastic Inc.
