Discover whole group and center activities that nurture all modalities of learning and allow children to explore all their intelligences. Whether you have just started differentiation, or are well into the DI travels, you’ll take new ideas, strategies, and energy back to your classroom.

Fun and Friendly Phonics.  Build a print rich environment and integrate phonics into all areas of your day. Escape the boredom of isolated skill drill. Discover brain-friendly ways to teach phonics using independent activities, music, movement, and immersion in letter and sound awareness.

After teaching and learning for more than thirty years as a classroom teacher, Cindy Middendorf now brings a practical, realistic approach to teacher workshops, conferences and in-service trainings. Her humor and insight into the lives of teachers (and learners) reflect her experience in the early childhood classroom.  She is well known for common sense, use-it-tomorrow strategies that are rooted in research. Cindy has presented at local, state and national conferences. She has been a featured speaker at many reading associations across America. She has worked as an Early Childhood and Early Literacy consultant in many school districts around the county. Cindy has authored 3 books for Scholastic Inc.
